University Day
Opening Doors to Higher Education
Dallas Champions Academy’s University Day connects students, parents, and coaches for a life-changing experience that turns potential into opportunity.

Student-athletes showcase their skills, talent, and leadership in front of 25–30 college coaches, gaining valuable exposure and recruitment opportunities.

Students engage in one-on-one sessions with college recruiters to explore academic pathways, scholarships, and career options.
-
Parents participate in a dedicated 10-Step College Road Map workshop, learning how to navigate college applications, admissions, and financial aid.

Each student is paired with a College Retention Specialist who provides personalized support from application through graduation.
Since 2015 - Over 200 students have received college
scholarships, entered the military, or obtained a trade through this
program—transforming futures and building legacies.
Summer Academy
Education & Summer Empowerment
In partnership with Day of Champions, we provide a second-to-none summer academy for boys and girls ages 8-18. Students are taught by 17 former and current NFL and university football players, coaches, community leaders and award-winning educators.
Focuses on academic support & goal setting, literacy tools, character development, athletics, nutrition, and life skills.

Champs Mentoring
Career/College Readiness Mentorship
CHAMPS is a Christian mentorship program that connects college and young adult mentors with under-served Dallas high school students. During biweekly sessions, mentees, volunteer mentors, and the mentor coordinator share in fellowship, worship, and Bible study to encourage and deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ. The program provides mentees with a support network as they explore college and career readiness. The workshops cover a broad range of topics, including SAT/ACT prep, essay writing, interview skills, and tools to thrive in life.

Champs READ
Literacy Mentorship
CHAMPS Read is a literacy mentorship program for under-served Dallas elementary students. With volunteer mentors, CHAMPS Read focuses on helping mentees develop literacy skills and building meaningful mentor-mentee relationships that encourage confidence and a love for reading. During weekly sessions, mentors and the mentor coordinator hold one-on-one reading sessions with students, reading together and reinforcing language and reading comprehension through prepared activities.

Christmas Outreach
Each holiday season, Dallas Champions Academy spreads joy through our annual toy giveaway - meeting a critical need at a time when many families are struggling. This cherished tradition provides over 1,000 gifts each season to under-resourced youth across Dallas, reminding them they are seen, valued and loved.
